He was predeceased by: his father William Boyd Overton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Collins Overton; his sons, Bruce W. Overton (Jessica) and William E. Overton (Ashleigh); his grandchildren, Alexis, Natalie, Jada, Gracie, William K and Temperance; and his siblings, Bobby Overton (Linda), Nancy Bouwman (Dean), Linda Atkins (Harrison) and Jimmy Overton.
