It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Dupree Babcock (West End, North Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dupree and Anna Belle McKenzie Dupree; and her husband Earl Babcock. She is survived by: her children, Earl Edward Babcock Jr. of Hamlet, James Howard Babcock of Baltimore, MD and Pamela Neerbasch of Rochester, NY; and her sister Betty Cole (Billy) of West End. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be offered to Bethlehem Baptist Church or Haven Richmond County Hospice.
