Tamara Strickland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tamara Strickland (Wendell, North Carolina), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Tamara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tamara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Hal Forrester; and her brother Greg Forrester. She is survived by: her mother Skip Forrester; her daughters, Anne Marie Strickland (Josh) and Dr. Sarah Elizabeth Myers (Drew); her granddaughter Hallie Drew Myers; and her brother Andy Forrester (Tammy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (125 S Selma Rd, Wendell, NC 27591).
