He is survived by: his mother Joyce Alford; his wife Edna Grey Barnes; his daughters, Joy Alford Evans of Lucama and Hope Alford of Kenly; his brother Dale Alford (Kim) of Corinth Holders; his grandsons, Joseph Evans and Austin Pendergraft; his nephew Tim Alford (Paige); and his cousin Flowers. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
