With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Todd Nowell of Wendell, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Dowell and Mamie Baker Todd; her husband Royce Nowell; and her siblings, Leona Kelly, Kathleen Nowell, Lula Bailey, Mamie Ramsey, R. B., Willie, Furney, Joe, Cedric and Leslie Todd.

She is survived by: her children, Humpty Dumpty Kindergarten, Kay Vann (Robin), Connie Greene and Al Nowell (Margaret); her grandchildren, Amos Greene (Kim), Elizabeth Vaughan (Clint), Ryan Vann (Shannon), Benjamin Vann (Mary Margaret), Mary Todd Moseley (Jon), Mary Allison Allen (Chester), Bert Nowell (Austen) and Annie Nowell; and her great grandchild Many. She is also survived by Many nieces & nephews.
