She is survived by: her husband John Brown Sr.; her children, Terry Brown (Hank) of Durham, Karen Saltus Perry (Howard) of Wendell, Crystal Morgan (Daryl Crudup) of Raleigh, Erik Saltus (Kimberly) of Wendell and John Brown, Jr. (Nikki) of Wendell; and her siblings, Fannie Hardaway (Paul), James Moore, Jr. and Thaddeus Moore (Pam). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597).
