He was predeceased by: his father Joe Taylor Smith. He is survived by: his mother Juliette Monast Smith; his children, Ronald Smith, Jr., Donna Bartley (Buddy) of Garner, Susan Brooks (Daniel) of Texas, Julie Jo Tant (Jamie) of Wendell and Rhonda Dempsey (Milton) of Texas; and his siblings, Richard Smith (Loretta) of Wendell and Carol Morgan of Florida. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
