He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Frank and Evelyn Louise Langley Zimmerman; and his wife Linda Gail Bass Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Chris Zimmerman (Janet Yates) of Knightdale, Michael Zimmerman (Ester) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lora Curtis of Wendell and Gloria Phillips (Eric) of Raleigh; his siblings, Frank Zimmerman of Clayton, Donald Zimmerman (Mary), Vicky Potter (Odell) of Clayton and Connie Chasteen of Raleigh; and his grandson Tony Curtis.
