He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Willie" Thomas Fowler and Rebecca "Myrtle" Pearce; and his siblings, Calvin Fowler and Christine Price. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sandra Faye Ward; his daughters, Pam Bobbitt (Stuart) and Robin Hinton (Mark); his sisters, Margie Fowler (Mike), Faye Andrews and Ann Lewis (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Brandon Bobbitt, Christopher Callahan (Rebekah), Dylan Bobbitt (Kylie), Ryan Callahan (Taylor), Weston Hinton (Tayler), Trevor Hinton (Anna) and Bryson Hinton (Brittany). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
