We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 68, Louis Taurino Zayas (Wendell, North Carolina), born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Taurino Zayas and Gloria Maria Ayala; his siblings, Eva Zayas Estrada and George Zayas; and his sister-in-law Norma Zayas.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lewis of Zebulon, NC; his sons, Timothy Zayas of Iowa and Coty Zayas (Danielle) of Illinois; and his siblings, Josephine LaPrade (Paul) of New York, Joseph Zayas (Ronda) of Youngsville, NC, Ruben Zayas (Robert), Maria Clark (Christopher) of Raleigh, NC and Eduardo Zayas (Lauri) of Raleigh, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his church family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Eugene Catholic Church's Building Fund for their future building projects.
