With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Thomas Watkins of Wendell, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his son Phillip Watkins of Asheville; his siblings, Shirley Watkins Harris (Theodric) of Wake Forest, Janie Watkins Green (Johnnie) of Raleigh, Wilma Watkins Lucas (Alfonsa) of Nashville, Newbern Watkins (Lucy) of Raleigh, Edward L. Watkins (Barbara) of Wendell and Michael Watkins of Dayton, OH; and his sister-in-law Apostle Barbara S. Watkins of Louisburg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
