He was predeceased by: his parents, Lero Dalton Batten and Louise Hinton Batten. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Godwin Batten; his sons, Leigh Batten (Mary) and Neil Batten (Marinda); his siblings, David Batten (Margaret), Wayne Batten (Pam), Linda Burgess (Jimmy) and Jackie Utley (Jim); and his grandchildren, Logan Mingin (Hunter), Shayna Batten, Dalton Batten (Keanan) and Al Batten.
