He is survived by: his granddaughter Evie; his daughter Sarah; his wife Sophia Bland Phelps; his son-in-law Jack Sellers of Greensboro; his grandmother Evelyn "Evie" Sellers; his brother Kermit Phelps (Shanna) of Terra Haute, IN; his niece Katie Spitler (Dustin) of Terra Haute, IN; and his friend Ken.
