It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Alma Rose (Wendell, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Albert and Didi Mae Littleton Mitchell; her daughter Janice Rose Willoughby; and her sisters, Carolyn Brantley, Gladys Jones and Jane Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Rose; her children, Mark Rose (Jackie) of Zebulon, Wanda Carlyle of Zebulon and Penny Jones of Zebulon; her brother-in-law Melvin Willoughby; and her siblings, Royce Mitchell, Tony Mitchell of Selma, Betty Underhill of La Grange and Rose Glover of Raleigh. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
