He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Everett Sollars, Sr. and Mary Kathleen Justice; his wife Marie C Sollars; and his brothers, Dale Everett "Sonny" Sollars, Jr. and Neil Gene Sollars.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Sollars of Clayton; his stepson Rob Choplin of Wendell; his grandsons, Tyler Lane Trotter, Robert Ray Davis Sollars, David "Malachi" Trotter and Christian "Tillett" Heath; his stepgrandchildren, Lukus Ty and Sky Mia Christensen; and his siblings, Michael Sollars, Nancy Smallwood, Frankie Sollars and Tammy Sollars. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
