He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie J. Boykin and Cula Bunch Boykin; and his wives, Kathy Futrell Boykin and Silene Caskey Boykin. He is survived by: his children, Keith Boykin (Teresa), Steve Boykin (Angie) and Gina Stephens (Sam); his granddaughter Heather Gagel (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Victoria, Layla and Shannon Burdette (Andy); his sister Mae Breslauer; and also, Ashby Compton, Charlotte, Lance Boykin (Brittany), Sawyer, Matthew Boykin, Michael Boykin, Christopher Helton, Ava, Cameron McKinney and Kathryn McKinney.
