He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Duffy and Frank Duffy; and his brother Frank Duffy. He is survived by : his wife MaryAnn Weber Duffy; his children, Colleen Duffy, Sean Duffy (Sharon) and Kelley Ewing (Michael); his grandchildren, Alexa, Kyle, Nolan, Connor and Kelsey; and his sister Grace Sarbok.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
