She was predeceased by: her mother Pearline Ratchford; her stepfather Charles Ratchford; and her nephew Adrian "Bumpskin" Woodard. She is survived by: her children, Tamela "Tammy" Jeffries and V'ger S. Jeffries of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Calill R. Dickerson and Pawaii K. Jeffries-Bullock of Raleigh; her siblings, Gellie "Judy" Hinton, Mary "Arlene" Cook of Raleigh, Paulette Potts, Barbara Simon and Adrian Woodard of Rock Hill; and her nieces and nephews, Cheryl "Vicky" Gordon (Terry), Kimberly Cook, Shawn "Evette" Lytle (Dewayne), Latoya "Kieki" Benjamin, Tameka "Tee" Woodard, Charles Lowery Jr., Mark Lowery, Wade "Tony" Parker, Trey Woodard, Thomas ShaRone Parker and Vernon "Junior" Benjamin.
