It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ray Carroll (Wendell, North Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Carroll; his granddaughter Tiffany Strickland; and his siblings, Charles Carroll, Shirley Chamblee and Peggy Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cooke Carroll; his children, Tim Carroll (Kathy) of Wendell, Paul Carroll (Katharyn) of Zebulon, Roxie Spring (Pete) of Conway, S. C. and Sherri Creighton of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Briana Hobbs (Wesley), Blake Carroll, Taylor Carroll and Jessica Belez (Luis); his great grandchildren, Bryson and Dylan Belez; and his friend Eloise Carroll.
