He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Archibald and Jeanette Tucker McAlister. He is survived by: his wife Nancy D. McAlister; his daughters, Sherri Hubbard Sigworth (Keith) of Knightdale, NC, Amanda Hubbard Wilkins (Kevin) of Dacula, GA and Lisa Marie McAlister Polen (Brian) of Wylie, TX; and his siblings, Dale Hurray (Bob) and Robert McAlister (Ann) of Anderson, SC.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Sweet Virginia Barn Cats in Clarksville or to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
