We bid farewell to Jacquelyn Davis (Wendell, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Jacquelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Jacquelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jacquelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Devan Painter and Margaret Phipps Painter; and her husband Alfred Nevell Davis. She is survived by: her children, Judy Anne Davis and Philip E. Davis (Jane); her grandchildren, Emily Davis (Ray Locklear) and Greg Davis (Art Stone); and her pet Andy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clyde's Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund.
