She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lindsay Glover and Juanita Jean Thomas; and her husband Samuel Joseph "Joe" Horton. She is survived by: her daughter Lindsey Horton Weaver (Isaac Welker); her stepson Shannon Horton (Barbara); her sisters, Virginia Glover and Anne Fowler; her grandchildren, John Lindsay Weaver, Charlotte St. Claire, Kenzie Grace, Tatum Welker and Raley Horton; and her nieces and nephews, Brittany Poindexter, Abby Gray, Christy Peterson, Matthew Bunch, Tyler Bunch and Zachary Barron.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591).
