He was predeceased by: his parents, Loreto Abarquez and Pacita Cabillion Abarquez; and his son Gilbert Abarquez. He is survived by: his wife Dioscora Abaquita Abarquez; his daughter Mercy Hoffmann (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Phillip Hoffmann and Maria Theresa Abarquez; and his siblings, Meme Watson (Chris), Wense Pietruski (Chris), Lorcita Racaza, Judito Abarquez, Ernesto Abarquez (Wilma) and Clarissa Jayme.
