Gene Roger Hicks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Roger Hicks (Wendell, North Carolina), who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Huey Burke and Rachel Jernigan Hicks; and his brothers, Wayne Hicks, Timmy Hicks and Randy Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Hicks; his children, Heather Crabtree (Michael) and Robert Hicks; his grandchildren, Taylor Crabtree, Jacob Crabtree and Cameron Hicks; and his sisters, Vicky Lindblom, Sandra Best (Randy) and Sherry Roberts (Ronnie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
