He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Walton Ramsey and Mamie Frances Todd Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bradshaw Ramsey; his son Franklin Dowell Ramsey (Leslie); his grandchildren, Lindsey Medlin, Blake, Kim Medlin and Colton Dowell Ramsey; his great grandchildren, Alice, Jack and Sully; and his brothers, Warren Ramsey (Carol) and Herbie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, or to the Wendell Baptist Church Homebound Ministry.
