She was predeceased by: her parents, Valton Wilson and Louise Minter Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Morton; her siblings, Daphne Wilson, Kaydene Dean (Larry), Julie Hernandez (Caesar) and Gina Dunn (Garrett); and her brothers-in-law, Davis Morton (Susan) and Hal Morton (Shelley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591).
