She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Joseph and Ernestine Bain Mattox; her husband Mossey Edward Faison, Sr.; and her siblings, John Mattox, Vernon Mattox, Edward Mattox and Jeannette Laing.
She is survived by: her pet Chassie; her children, Edward Faison (Joanne) and Marian James (Mike); her granddaughter Jessica Killette (Edwin); and her great grandchild Peyton Killette.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591).
