With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leemond Edward Branch of Weldon, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Branch and Bessie Branch. He is survived by: his wife Jean Sutton Branch; his son Bob (Ann); his grandchildren, Dr. Kateland Branch Napier (Jon), Sarah Branch Elliott (Ryland), Lucie Browder Branch and Brian Sutton Branch (Caitlin); his great grandchildren, Hazel Napier, Willa Napier, Annie Elliott, Caroline Elliott and Sutton Branch; and his sister Megretha Schmitt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Weldon Baptist Church (609 Washington Ave, Weldon, NC 27890). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that donations be made to Weldon Baptist Church, in lieu of flowers.
