It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Ruth Hedspeth Joyner of Weldon, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lokie Hedspeth and Virgie Hedspeth of Northampton County; and her husband Paul H. Joyner, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Joyner Allen; and her granddaughters, Katie Walker and Emily Lyles (Colby). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, all of Roanoke Rapids; a niece, several nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Weldon Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
