He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Thursam Evans (Russell) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his siblings, Matthew Thursam (Lura) of Florida, Michael Thursam (Karen) of Tennessee and Laura Morstadt (George) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Melanie Evans, Russell Evans, II (Samantha), James Evans (Ashley), Richard Evans and Michael Evans; and his great grandchildren, Russell Evans III, Maisie Evans and Jackson Evans.
