He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William J. "Papa" Matthews, Joyce L. "Mama" Matthews and William E. "Billy" Brack, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, William Arnold Matthews, Sr. and Mariella Brack Matthews; his grandmother Concetta Brack of Henderson; his sisters, Gabriella Matthews of Wilmington and Maria Rutherford (Christian Rutherford); and also, Poet Rutherford, Donna, Amgad Saad, Sunnie Saad, Simon Saad, Geno, Michelle Brack, Michael, Alisha Brack, Zachary Brack, Rosanna, Dean Albert and Faith Albert. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
