It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Burkhart (Welcome, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gail Childress Burkhart; his children, Michael Burkhart (Karyn) of Clemmons, Tracey Thayer (Ron) of Wilmington and Kelly Cobb (Paul) of Clemmons; his siblings, Jerry Burkhart (Jerri), Jack Burkhart and Jean Green (Johnnie) of Mocksville; and his grandchildren, Tyler Thayer (Kelli), Lauren Thayer, Cameron Thayer, Rachel Cobb, Frederick Cobb, Alec Burkhart and Bryce Burkhart.
