She was predeceased by: her parents, Casey Johnson and Bessie Johnson of Willow Springs; her husband Ray Godwin; her son Tommy Howard Godwin of Tamuning; and her siblings, Paul Ray Johnson of Willow Springs, Jerry Wayne Johnson of Willow Springs and Dorothy Johnson Young of Raleigh.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Renee Godwin of Houston, TX, Cheryl Lynn Godwin of Greenville, Anthony Ray Godwin of Tamuning, Guam and Jun Lin of Tamuning, Guam; her sister Bettie Johnson Thigpen of Garner; her grandchildren, Krystal Lynn Mitchell (Logan) of Houston, TX, Dawn-Marie Bagley (Matthew) of Pantego and Ryan Tyler Boyd of Tamuning, Guam; and her great grandchildren, Sophie Marie Bagley, Landon Ray Bagley, Tyson Cole Bagley, Lyndsie Renee Mitchell, Saydie Mitchell, Tyler Boyd and Josie Bagley.
With the coronavirus concerns and respect for others, the service is delayed and the life celebration will be announced at a later date when gatherings are more appropriate.
