With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Preston Edwards (Welcome, North Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Vincent Edwards and Mary Hoyle Edwards; his wife Maurine Harris Edwards; and his siblings, James Edwards, Roger Edwards, Bill Edwards, Mabel Harsher, Alma Rodeheaver and Elsie Whitfield.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia E. Pegram (Julian) of Youngsville and Kenny Edwards (Shay) of Winston-Salem; and his granddaughters, Sadie Pegram, Abbey Edwards and Ansley Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund, 1699 Weldon's Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
