He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Oscar and Ida Ree Leonard; his siblings, Keith Leonard, Hilda Loflin, Alma Rose Leonard and Paige Holder; and his daughter Penny Daye.
He is survived by: his wife Donese Tussey Leonard; his sons, Kim Leonard (Shirley) and Dean Leonard (Teri); his daughters-in-law, Glenda Garris Leonard and Linda Black Leonard; and his grandchildren, Brooke Leonard Cresswell, Brandi Leonard D'Souza, Jaime Leonard Smith, Katie Leonard Cochran, Chase Leonard, Amanda Leonard McCrary, Jordan Leonard and Brandon Leonard.
