We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2019, at the age of 82, Kay Clifton Byrd (Welcome, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Askew Byrd; her mothers, J. O. Clifton, Sr. and Beulah Love Clifton; and her brother Oris Clifton, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Sonja Byrd Puryear (Mitchell); her granddaughters, Amanda Michelle Puryear (Daniel Anderson) and Laura Frances Puryear; and her siblings, Don Clifton (JoAnn) of Benson and Edith Ogburn (Herman) of Willow Spring.
