He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Osborne Hinton Gwynn and Maude Owen Gwynn; his wife Valerie G. Gwynn; his children, Karin G. Cornelson (Martin) of Spartanburg, SC, Donna G. Wester (John) of Henderson, Jennifer McDaniel Gwynn of Advance, Melissa G. Osborne (Garry) of Ashburn, VA, Don Hill Gwynn, Jr. (Katherine) of Greensboro and John P. Gwynn (Shannon) of Henderson; his stepson Brian Taylor (Kara) of Durham; his sister Nancy G. Redding (Gene) of Greenville, SC; and his former wife Barbara M. Gwynn.
