It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Bryant Essick (Welcome, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Franklin Essick (Bill); and her sisters, Helen Tysinger and Eulis Carlton. She is survived by: her children, William Essick, Jr. (Frank) and Sharon Essick Bele of Lexington; her sister-in-law Freda Shoaf of Lexington; her niece Judy Greer-Stewart of Lexington; and her grandson Anthony J. Bele, III.
