He was predeceased by: his parent Casper Jernigan; and his brother Joey Lyn Jernigan. He is survived by: his mother Doris F. Davis Jernigan; his wife Debra Holt Jernigan; his children, Ashley J. McLamb (Joseph), Nicole J. Foster (Michael) and David Scott Jernigan (Erin); his siblings, Deborah Currin (Nelson) and Casper "Ricky" Jernigan (Teresa); his granddaughter Scarlett Faye Jernigan; and his sister-in-law Kathy Sorrell (Frankie).
A graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM Friday Dec. 11, 2020 at Inwood Baptist Church Cemetery, on Lake Wheeler Rd. in Raleigh. (Formerly the Point Church) Please wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines.
