He is survived by: his wife Joyce Howard Capps; his brother Ronald Capps; his daughters, Connie Powell (Jim), Michelle Jones and Jennifer Fish (Grant); and his grandchildren, Matthew Powell, Kristen Powell, Samantha Fish, Phillip Jones and Marlin Hoffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
