He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Ivan Owen. He is survived by: his mother Tonya Rains Strum of Henderson; his stepfather Glenn Dotson Strum; his son Camden William Owen of Oxford; his sister Chesley Owen Reisch (Michael) of Denver, Colorado; his stepbrother Brandon Strum (Jessica) of Henderson; his grandparents, Betty Trimble of Scottsboro, Bobby and Nancy Rains of Calabash; and his stepgrandfather Coen Strum of Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camden William Owen Educational Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, PO Box 179, Henderson, NC 27536.
