She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Bryant Ayscue and Louise Carrol Ayscue. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Eugene Pendergrass; and her sister Debby A. Brannock (David) of Norlina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
