She is survived by: her parents, Ronald Swicegood (Linda) and Ann Thomas; her sister Minnee; her husband Jeff Hammonds; her daughters, Karen Coney (Danny) and Kelli (Joseph Gephardt); her granddaughters, Lorelei Coney and Rosalie Coney; and also Byrd (Mark). She is also survived by granddaughter, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

True to fashion, she was able to help others even in her death through the donation of her organs so that others would be able to live.
