He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hall Matheson and Athleen Mildred Wilson Matheson; his wife Mella Anne Matheson; his children, David Matheson (Tami Matheson), Coley Greystone (Markus Greystone) and Shannon Sherbert (Jessica Sherbert); his grandchildren, Marcelline Greystone, Adrian Greystone, LeAnn Sherbert, Brooke Sherbert, Britany Root and Bradley Root; his sister Barbara Hellinger; his niece Kelli Dunn; his nephew Michael Bullard; his brother-in-law William Knight (Kim Knight); and his nephews, Chris Knight and Wayne Knight.
