It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Rose Moore (Weddington, North Carolina), born in Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Alexander and Willie Murphy McIntyre; her husband Charles David Moore; her grandson Cory Moore; and her daughter-in-law Terry Moore.
She is survived by: her child Glenn Moore; her children-in-law, Rhonda Moore (Keith Moore), Nancy Moore (Debbie Denny), Tim Denny (Bruce Moore) and Denise Moore; and her brother Albert Black. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn East (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Weddington, NC 28104).
