He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Anderson Walker, Sr. and Mary Ella Clegg Walker; his former wife Anna Bullock Walker; his children, Hugh Joshua Walker of Norwood, NC and Anna Christine Shackelford Walker (Charles Shackelford); his grandson Edwin Shackelford of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Joseph Warren Walker of Charlotte, NC, Louise Walker of Cornelius, NC, Judith Walker Cooley of Austin, TX and Elaine Walker McDonald of Brevard, NC.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
