He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay VanderSchel and Anna VanderSchel Pink (Kec); and his nephew Stevie Custer. He is survived by: his wife Veronique S. VanderSchel; his sons, Ian Q. VanderSchel, Dylan A. VanderSchel and Austin C. VanderSchel; his granddaughter Arya VanderSchel (Austin); his sisters, Sheli Custer and JoAnn Brackett; and his nieces and nephews, Bethany C. Calio (James), Rebecca Custer, Amanda B. Wachs (Kyle), Tyler Custer, Troy Custer, Cody Custer and Joshua Peterson. He is also survived by great nieces, family and friends.
