She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Benton and Myrtle Benton; and her siblings, Moffat Benton and Betty Bass. She is survived by: her husband John Cotty; her children, Marshall Parrish (Krissy), Tamara Parrish, Jeff Parrish, Chris Soiset (Anne) and Tiffany Soiset-Sheaff (Shane); her grandchildren, Shaelyn, Gracie, Jordan, Marshall and Nicole; and her sisters, Diane Benton, Vivian Hartis (Henry) and Maxine Spears. She is also survived by her sisters and brother, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Matthews United Methodist Church.
