Deborah James Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 70, Deborah James (Weddington, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deborah James to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald J. Kuhnheim and Ruth Hurlbut Kuhnheim. She is survived by: her husband Scott James; her children, Susan Langley (Shawn), Christie Mueller (Greg) and Brian James (Lauren); her grandchildren, Ainsley, Sadie, Colton James, Jaxson, Dominic and Jacob Mueller; and her brother Keith Kuhnheim. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Weddington, NC 28104). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Forest Lawn East Cemetery (3709 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104).
