He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Allan and Edna Alberta Myers Earhart. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Rodkey Earhart; and his children, Kirk Earhart (Joanne), Keith Earhart (Dena), Kevin Earhart, Kim Earhart (Mary) and Kerry Earhart (Terry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
